Typically HP is delivering new OE releases (Released in March and September every year) via digital downloads. If requested specifically, they will ship media, however for this process we will need them in .iso format regardless. Therefore, the first step is to either download the .iso from HP (support contract is required) or create an .iso from the physical media.

  • Copy the media to the server you intend to use for ignite based installs via FTP/SCP or another method.
  • Mount the .iso has a file system (Requires 11.31 to be running). Steps for that are found here (Mount ISO in 11.31)
